On what must have been the coldest – nithering – the sort of cold, biting, chilling wind, with some rain (read downpour) and sleet thrown in – day of the year so far, riders including myself, braved the winter weather warnings to attend the Ancestors MCC annual Christmas Toy Run.
The annual run raises funds and toys for the Childrens Ward at the Ulster Hospital Dundonald, this years run saw around £1700 pounds collected and handed to the ward staff at the end of the run.

So from all those who dressed up as Santa’s – Snowmen and a view others in between including the “christmas” Monkeys on the Monkey Bikes and the PSNI motorcyclists, Drennan with his bit of a ‘Isadora Duncan’ moment and the Ancestors, I hope all your fingers, toes, noses and other parts have come back to the land of the living!
