The British Motorcyclists Federation is looking to recruit a – Government Relations Executive Officer (GREO)
The BMF, the UK leading Riders Rights organisation, is looking to recruit a dynamic person to fill this exciting and challenging role and to join the hard working staff and volunteers within this exciting and vibrant organisation.
This role will include working flexible hours with some weekend working, providing reactive and pro-active lobbying for the BMF directly with Governments, both at home and in Europe, working with other lobbying organisation to promote the cause of motorcycling.
Providing press releases and the use of other media outlets, such as Facebook and Twitter, working closely with the BMF’s media provider.
Maintaining close contact with members of the Devolved Parliaments, Assemblies and their government departments, UK MPs, MEPs and UK Government departments and with the BMF membership.
Maintain records and information of current and proposed legislation in the UK and Europe as it affects motorcycling.
Salary will be in the range of £20,000 to £27,000 per annum, depending on experience, the normal working place will be home based with some working at our offices in Leicester.
Normal working hour will be 37 hours per week.
