On 9th June 2013 Right To Ride’s Trevor Baird joined the, NI Bikers & Trikers Riding For Charity – Mayor Of Lisburns Rideout – raising funds for the charity Stepping Stones.
Stepping Stones provides adults with learning difficulties/disabilities with the opportunity to access accredited training towards gaining employment.
The rideout left “The Island Center” in Lisburn in blistering heat and headed out into the country side.
The heat was that blistering, that at the rest stop at the Old Railway Station carpark in Dromore, the ice cream van gave a cough and a splutter and there was no more 99s to be had!
The run finished at “The Highway Inn” on the Hillhall Road, Lisburn with refreshments, a small raffle, with Right to Ride now in possession of a bottle of red wine and a muti tool magnetic/mirror thing in a box.
Finally and most importantly the ride out raised £400 for the Stepping Stones charity!
