Whether you are out for a ride looking for a bite to eat or just passing through you can now get your Biker NI Safety Card at Slim’s Cafe in Draperstown.
Slim’s is situated in St Patrick Street Draperstown, at the foot of the Sperrin Mountains, owner Owen says, “Myself (Owen) and my wife Paula, both keen bikers, took the cafe over about a year ago.
We would like to establish the cafe as a stop/rest point for fellow bikers and as such offer either a 10% discount or free tea/coffee to any bikers passing through.
Thanks to some nice roads and beautiful scenery throughout the Sperrins, we had approx 200 bikers stopping with us last summer and more are always welcome.
We are happy to open outside of normal hours for any groups of bikers passing through (10 or more bikes) and can offer refreshments for any charity runs in the area.
