track-day-mccallen-march2013-250Phillip McCallen Motorcycles are running their Road & Track Riding Skills Day on Sunday 24th March at Nutts Corner.

The PSNI’s Bike Safe programme will be represented, sharing a wealth of knowledge to help all riders improve upon their skills and become a smoother more confident rider.

On the day there will be a small number of Kawasaki Ninja 250s available for use by those people who do not have a bike of their own but would like to experience track riding, and these will be available for £220 for the day (inclusive of instruction).

As per normal there will be an excess of £500 taken on credit card against damage caused to the bike and if the bike is dropped and not serviceable then your track skills day will terminate as there are no other spare bikes available.

The customer will only pay for whatever damage is caused up to £500.

Also people curious about getting started on a motorbike for the first time can join in on the event. A DOE approved instructor will be there for beginners to try out 125cc bikes such as the KTM 125 Duke within the closed paddock area.

This part of the day will be free for those wishing to participate but there are limited spaces available.

The Nitty Gritty of the Road & Track Riding Skills Day

By popular demand Phillip McCallen Motorcycles are again running another skills track day at Nutts Corner on Sunday the 24th March 2013.

There has never been a better time to ensure that your riding skills are up to standard than by building confidence.

The day consists of instruction from Jeremy McWilliams, Phillip McCallen and other similar level instructors on how to ride your motorbike safely on track and road.

During the day riders will be split into groups based on their abilities running in 15 minute rotations.

Due to the intensive nature of the instruction and small groups (approx 5 per group) on the track at any one time, the numbers will be restricted to strictly 50 persons for the day.

There will be analysis sessions after group instruction where riders will be given one to one advice with video by Phillip, Jeremy and others after the sessions.

This event is geared towards all level of riders from absolute beginners through to advanced road and club level events riders.

The cost of the days instruction will be £120 for the day including instruction and a light lunch, it is expected that most riders will want to bring their own bike.

You can book your place by calling Phillip McCallen Motorcycles (028) 9262 2886, calling into our showroom or you can order online here.
