Sunday 9th December 2012 sees the Ancestors MCC date for their annual Christmas Toy Run for the Children’s Ward in the Ulster Hospital.
The run will take place on Sunday 9th December 2012.
Leaving Ballygowan Roundabout at 1pm
£5 per bike and toy if possible.
(No soft toys for hygenic reasons)
The usual route & stops at Sprucefield and Custom House Square, Belfast before finally arriving at the Ulster Hospital.
You can start the run at any point, just find one of the club in the Hi Viz vests and give your £5 donation per bike and if you can afford it a toy or a gift voucher..
As per usual everyone is invited to the hospital for a warming cup of soup/tea/coffee and some nibbles. The hospital staff love to see everyone who comes on the run to thank all everyone for their generosity of time and donations.
All the money which is raised goes directly towards the sick children in the hospital to try and make their stay as comfortable as possible and enable the staff to buy toys and decorations for Christmas and birthdays.
The run leave Ballygowan at 1.00pm, there will be a burger van to help warm the hardly souls before heading out.

“Just let you know folks the Queens University Juggling club have agreed to come to Custom House square to do a bit of Juggling & Balloon modeling to keep all the kids entertained as well as big kids. We also have some wee gifts for any children that come, nothing much but its always nice to treat the wee ones ”
“The Coke a Cola big rig will be down in Customs House Square the Sunday of the Toy Run, must admit I’m looking forward to seeing that one. Come on down & see us in the Square Sunday 9th December around 2:30pm.”
