St John Ambulance (NI) is Northern Ireland’s leading first aid charily.

They offer first aid and related training courses for the workplace, delivered in Belfast or in their eight training centres throughout Northern Ireland or on your own premises.

The latest courses include:

First Aid at work

Emergency first aid at work

AED (Defibrillator) Operator

The content of the full day of First Aid For Riders courses include:

Bone, muscle and joint injuries;
Casualty movement;
Communication and casualty care;
Emergencies in public;
Head injury;
Primary survey;
Resuscitation (adult);
Removal of a crash helmet;
Unconscious casualty

First Aid For Riders need a 12 minimum to make the running of the course financially viable and 12 maximum for Health & Safety regulations and to give delegates the best value of 12 persons per trainer.

However if you have a group of riders interested – for example as a motorcycle club, group, organisation or association we can organise with St John Ambulance the suitability of a date for one of their trainers to deliver a course on a block booking, including if you have a suitable venue e.g. a room that allows 12 people to practice CPR – helmet removal.
