MCWG – Meets Again!

On September 28th the EU Commission will hold a meeting with stakeholders.

These stakeholders including FEMA (Federation of European Motorcyclists Associations) government representatives, ACEM (Motorcycle Industry in Europe) and FIM (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme) etc to discuss the technical aspects of the proposal on the approval and market surveillance of 2 or 3 wheeled vehicles and quadricycles aka the proposal on type approval.

Included in the discussions is the report from TRL on anti-tampering measures – that’s the bunny that got everybody’s back up.

To be clear, anti-tampering measures will ONLY refer to small motorcycles and mopeds i.e. 50cc to 125cc it will not cover medium and high performance motorcycles.

So if you’ve had your morning coffee, given yourself a shake and have nothing better to do….
