Ride It Right the motorcycle safety initiative report that BikeSafe have announced a couple of extra dates where riders can book and take the BikeSafe assessed ride, which are conducted solely by PSNI Advanced Traffic Branch motorcyclists.
Also riders who complete a BikeSafe assessment before the 30th September will be entered, free of charge, courtesy of Bikesafe and Bridgestone, for the chance to win a VIP trip of a lifetime to the MotoGP in Valencia in November 2011.
The first of the extra dates is this Friday 12th August at Montgomery’s Ballymena, a Charity Bike Night – Supporting Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice and the second on Sunday August 14th at a demo event organized by the NI Dealer Council, which represents all the main motorcycle franchises in Northern Ireland, taking place at the Hilton Hotel, Templepatrick.
The final BikeSafe event listed for 2011 takes place at Hein Gericke in Newry on Saturday 10th September, just in time to be entered into the VIP trip of a lifetime to the MotoGP in Valencia.

Hilton Templepatrick NI Dealer Council – Sunday 14th August 2011
Demo event organized by the NI Dealer Council, which represents all the main motorcycle franchises in Northern Ireland to take place at the Hilton Hotel, Templepatrick on Sunday 14th August.
A total of 7 franchiseswill be represented with demo rides at hourly intervals from 10am until 3pm.
Each franchise will have up to 6 demonstrator bikes available to ride on the day.
Customers are invited to make multiple bookings across franchises.
Province Wide are offering rides on a selection of bikes from the 2011 Harley-Davidson model range.

The Bikesafe initiative is based on professional riding techniques and is designed to enhance the skills of riders who have already passed their test. Topics covered include how to control your bike, the common factors which lead to a collision and how to keep your bike security.
