Lizzie Drakes MCC

Right To Ride welcomes on board new club supporters Lizzie Drakes MCC.

Lizzie Drakes Motorcycle Club was formed in 2002 by a group of guys that attended the Irish road racing scene. After a few races, while they were in their local bar (Drakes Bar Moria Road Lisburn), they decided to form a motorcycle club hence Lizzie Drakes MCC.

The club members follow and support the sport they love and since 2008 they have been proud sponsors of local road racer Michael Pearson.

While the club members travel at home and further afield to watch racing, when the road racing isn’t on, they like to get out on the bikes for a ride out.

This includes attending as many ride outs for charity as they can and nearer to home, they help out local charities, a different charity is chosen each year, by holding their annual poker run to raise money.

Last year proceeds of the poker run went to the ‘Shine a Light’ children’s cancer charity.

The support and commitment of clubs like Lizzie Drakes and individual motorcyclists gives us at Right To Ride the representative power in the issues we deal with. Here at home in Northern Ireland and in Europe, we cannot do this without that support.

You can visit the club’s website for a bit more info at www.lizziedrakesmcc.co.uk
