More Than A Ride Out

Right To Ride’s motorcycle club supporters, the Quay Vipers MCC, has organised the 3rd Annual Kells to Kells Charity Ride Out on Saturday 17th July 2010 – it is much more that just a ride out.

Sponsored by Adelaide Insurance Services the ride out, in aid of the IAM, (with a minimum donation of £5 per bike) leaves Kells Community Centre Co Antrim at 2pm, with a fuel stop at Sprucefield 2.45pm, for the 117 mile ride to Kells, Co. Meath, arriving at around 5pm.

However the ride out is just one of a host of events for the Adelaide International Weekend. The weekend starts at Kells Co.Antrim on Wednesday 14th July and culminates with the Adelaide International – Kells Road Races, Co Meath, on Sunday 18th July on the Crossakiel Circuit.

At Kells Co. Antrim there are: Barbeques and camping available – A Motorcycle Display featuring winning racing bikes – A Photographic Display by local and renowned photographer Stephen Davison of road racing in action – A Motorcycle Display featuring, vintage motorcycles, scooter and trikes – Kenny Kirk Motorcycle Stunt Riding Show – A Family Fun Day featuring DJ music, bouncy castles, giant slides and an obstacle course – Harley Motorcycle Display – The story of the Adelaide to Adelaide Adventure and other epic trips – Accident Scene Rescue by the PSNI and Fire Brigade – Pamela Ballentine Television Personality.

Meanwhile from Friday 16th in Kells Co Meath, there is a Classic bike run – Bike Fest – Custom Show – World Class Stunt Rider Mattie Griffin – Quad Stunts – Trade Stands – Garda Bike Safe – Jap Bike Display – Extreme Race Bike Display – Music – Food Area – Classic Bike Display – Plenty of fun for the whole family – Kiddies Area – Bouncy Castle – Face Painting – Reptile Corner – Snakes – Spiders – The start and finish of the Honda 50 run with over 120 Hondas – The Autism Meath bike run finishes at Bike Fest with 100 bikes – BTW Ireland is trying to set a trike record for the biggest amount of trikes in Kells on the Saturday – Club Challenge – Test your skills on your slow Bike manoeuvre course, each club will put their best 2 riders forward to do battle. A fee of 20 euro per club applies, the money raised is for Meath Autism.
